3. System Description
A. Cabin Attendant Work-Light
The 115VAC from the busbar 210XP supplies the work lights through the circuit breaker 1LZ ATTN WORK LIGHT and the power control relay 2LZ. The work lights and the power units are installed in the overhead panels above the cabin attendant seats. The power units change 115VAC to 6VAC for the light operation. The membrane switch POWER ATTN on the forward attendant panel 120RH controls the power supply for the work lights.

Push the MAIN OFF membrane switch on the forward attendant panel 120RH to turn off the work lights together with all lights in other cabin systems.

The power unit is connected to a Decoder/Encoder Unit (DEU) of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS). A test of the work lights is made from the CIDS system.
The 115VAC from busbar 210XP supplies the work lights through circuit breaker 1LZ ATTN WORK LIGHT and Stand Alone - Passenger Interface and Supply Adapters (StA-PISAs).
For the power supply of work lights located in the Passenger Service Units (PSU), if installed refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 23-73-00-00).
The work lights and the StA-PISAs are installed in the overhead panels above the cabin attendant seats. The StA-PISAs change 115VAC to 28VDC for the operation of the light. The attendant work lights are controlled by buttons in the attendant area.
Push the 'LIGHTS MAIN ON/OFF' button at Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH to turn on/off the work lights at the same time with all the lights in the other cabin systems.
The StA-PISAs are connected to a Decoder/Encoder Unit (DEU) of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS). A test of the work lights is made from the CIDS system.

4. Component Description
A. Cabin Attendant Work-Light
Push the membrane switch POWER ATTN on the forward attendant panel 120RH to supply 28VDC to the relay 2LZ. The relay 2LZ energizes and completes the 115VAC supply to all the power units.

Push the work light membrane-switch to complete the 6VAC circuit for the work light. The related work light comes on. The integral light in the membrane switch comes on when the work light operates.

Push the work light membrane-switch again to turn off the related work light.
Push the POWER ATTN membrane switch on the forward attendant panel 120RH again to turn off all the work lights.
Push the MAIN OFF membrane switch on the forward attendant panel 120RH to turn off all the work lights together with the lights in other cabin systems.
The system of the cabin attendant work-lights gives lighting to each attendant seat independently. The Passenger Interface and Supply Adapters (PISA) supply the cabin attendant work-lights. These units change the voltage from 115VAC to 28VDC.
For the operation touch the 'Main ON/OFF' button on the 'LIGHT' page of FAP 120RH to 'ON'.
An interface to the CIDS is included for the test function (Ref. AMM D/O 23-73-00-00).
