AIDS - WEFA REPORTS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
The AIDS Reports are results of the related AIDS monitored aircraft systems (refer to the list below for the list of reports which are available). The reports can be requested manually or are started automatically. The monitor functions have fixed trigger mechanisms, fixed data collection and output formatting. Collected monitored-aircraft-data is automatically supplied to the related systems during unusual aircraft operation. If a report is requested manually with the remote print button, it is generated immediately (independently of any other start logic). The manually or automatically generated reports (stored in the SSMM) can be transferred to the printer and/or the MDDU, and/or the ACARS and/or the DAR/SAR. Some parameters for customer requirements are re-programmable through the MCDU or by GSE (For more information refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 31-36-00-00).

WEFA Report <90>

The Wireless Extension for AIDS Report contains a mandatory part at the beginning which is related to the WEFA function and must not be changed.
By the use of the GSE you can add optional/additional data to the report.
The WEFA report, described below, is generated when one of the logic conditions (1000 or 4001) is present.

(1) WEFA Report Data Lines Description
The length of the WEFA Report can be different, because there could be an optional part added by the GSE starting at line 21.
The lines up to line ID C4 are mandatory.
