INDICATING - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
The three hydraulic systems have sensors which monitor the condition of the systems. The sensors monitor

the contents of the reservoirs (Ref. AMM D/O 29-31-00-00)
the system pressure (Ref. AMM D/O 29-32-00-00)
the output pressure of the pumps (not the electric pump of the Yellow system) (Ref. AMM D/O 29-32-00-00)
the temperature of the hydraulic fluid (Ref. AMM D/O 29-33-00-00)
the internal pressure of the reservoir (Ref. AMM D/O 29-34-00-00)

The information from the sensors is sent to the flight compartment and used for

FAULT warnings on the overhead panel
audio warnings
MASTER CAUTION and MASTER WARNING lights
electronic centralized aircraft monitor (ECAM) displays (system and engine/warning displays).
