1. Description and Operation
A. General
The exhaust plug assembly is attached to the aft end of the engine. The exhaust plug gives the aerodynamic flow path for the hot flow at the engine exhaust.
The exhaust plug system consists of two sub-assembly components:

- Exhaust front plug
- Exhaust aft plug.
2. Detailed Description
A. Exhaust Plug Assembly
The plug system is an aerodynamic structure. The skin of the exhaust plug guides the hot engine flow. The exhaust plug assembly and the exhaust engine case are attached with the bolts.
The exhaust front plug flange integrates a cylinder which is centered in a bore in the exhaust engine case flange. One spigot provides the exhaust plug assembly indexing.
A support, supplied by the engine manufacturer, is attached in the aft area of the exhaust plug assembly to center and support the engine vent tube.
Drain holes provide the drainage of the exhaust plug assembly. The drain holes are at the lowest point of the exhaust plug assembly. The exhaust front plug and exhaust aft plug are attached together with bolts through a conical interface.
