** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL The ignition distribution consists of the items that follow:
- Ignition leads
- Igniters.
2. Component Description
A. Ignition leads
Two ignition leads run from the ignition exciters on the engine core to the igniters on the combuster case.
The main function of the ignition leads is to supply the electrical pulses from the ignition exciters to the igniters.

B. Igniters
Two igniters are located on the combustor case. When the ignition system operates, the ignition leads supply the electrical pulses to the igniters.
The main function of the igniter is to expand as a spark at the igniter electrodes in the engine combustion chamber.
