1. General
The rounded forward edge of the upper and lower skin panels make the elevator leading edge. It has four access panels on the lower side.

2. Description
Six nose ribs make the leading edge stronger. In the area of the hinge fittings and the actuator fittings it has cut-outs. Four access panels make the access to this area easier. Countersunk screws attach the access panels to the nose ribs and along the lower skin panel. All components are made of laminations of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP).
