STABILIZERS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
The tail assembly has a vertical stabilizer, a rudder assembly, a trimmable horizontal stabilizer and two elevator assemblies.

3. Description
The primary structural components of the stabilizers (spars, ribs and skin panels) are made of laminations of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP). All other components are made of the same material, or Glassfiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) or of light alloy.
Three independant hydraulic systems control the rudder and the elevators. You can trim the horizontal stabilizer and the rudder.
You can remove the stabilizers completely.
