PYLON-TO-NACELLE JUNCTION - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. Description

The pylon-to-nacelle junction is made of:

two aprons
a front radial firewall
two reverse cowl fire seals
one forward junction fairing with three cut-outs
one rear junction fairing with one cut-out
These junction items are made of titanium.
Monel rivets and corrosion-resistant steel bolts are used for attachment.
