** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
1. General
Support struts are made of extruded aluminum (or composite material). The support struts of the cabin floor structure have a H-Cross-section profile. They are installed in the different underfloor compartments and sections to make the floor structure stronger. The sidewall panels of the cargo compartments are attached to the support struts.

A. Support Strut Installations
(1) The support struts under the cabin floor structure are generally riveted to the cross-beams and to the frames. The support struts in the cargo compartments make a lateral channel left and right of the cargo compartments sidewall. In the left-hand channel different aircraft systems are installed.
(2) To get access to the different aircraft systems (for removal and installation) some of the support struts are removable. The removable struts in the aft cargo compartments are installed at, frame 50/51, 56/57, 61/62 and the center support strut at frame 65.
