1. General
The fluorescent lamps, which are installed in the ceiling, illuminate the forward and aft cargo compartments. Each fluorescent lamp is installed in a lampholder which includes the ballast unit.
A loading area light is installed in each of the loading areas.
The cargo compartment lights operate independently from the status of the cargo door. If the lights are switched on during the ground operation and you do not switch off the lights, the lights will stay on during the flight.

The ceiling lights are installed on crossbeams in the forward and aft cargo compartments. The loading area lights are bracket mounted and the light direction is adjustable.
The 115VAC busbar 214XPA supplies the ceiling lamps 13LU-1, 14LU-1, 20LU-1 and 21LU-1 of the forward cargo compartment through the circuit breaker 1LU. The toggle switch 6LU controls the ballast units of these ceiling lamps.
The 115VAC busbar 214XPB supplies the ceiling lamps 15LU-1, 16LU-1, 17LU-1 and 22LU-1 of the aft cargo compartment through the circuit breaker 2LU.
The toggle switch 8LU controls the ballast units of the ceiling lamps 15LU-1, 16LU-1 and 22LU-1.
The toggle switch 18LU controls the ballast unit of the ceiling lamp 17LU-1.
The 28VDC busbar 602PP supplies the forward loading-area light through the circuit breaker 3LU and the toggle switch 7LU.
The 28VDC busbar 602PP supplies the aft loading-area light through the circuit breaker 3LU and the toggle switch 9LU.
