COCKPIT - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
The cockpit lighting system allows the flight crew to see:
  • all the equipment details in the cockpit,
  • all the inscriptions and necessary indications whatever the level of light.
The various lighting sources are:
  • cockpit lighting: dome lights,
  • panels and instruments lighting: flood lights or lamps,
  • map table lighting: reading lights,
  • console lighting: lamps,
  • integral lighting of VU panels and instruments,
  • lighting of annunciators and pushbutton switches.

There are two electrical outlets in the cockpit:
  • 28VDC one,
  • and 115VAC 400 Hz one.

A spare lamps box is provided in the cockpit. It is located on the left side panel.
